We are searching for an individual who is interested in optimizing and streamlining the procurement process within EMEA. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your SAP knowledge to manage multiple projects and roll out best practices to support International Paper internal customers in the area of corporate sourcing, procurement, fiber supply, facility purchasing and storerooms. You will

  • Ensure continuous and efficient procurement processes across EMEA
  • Define business requirements with users and stakeholders for any new projects or enhancements
  • Drive and manage multiple projects through the established change control process towards implementation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to implementation
  • Provide procurement and storeroom systems and processes improvement, standardization, and user’s support for paper mills and box plants in EMEA
  • Conduct system testing prior enhancement implementation of go-live
  • Provide hyper-care period users support
  • Develop training documentation and ensure effective communication on new processes, projects or enhancements
  • Deliver training on SAP MM, BW, business analysis tools and other procurement systems
  • Conduct change management as required for procurement system end-users
  • Support new facilities enrollment into SAP procurement model
  • Represent EMEA as Subject Matter Expert in International Paper global projects and implementations
  • Provide SAP MM user support for sourcing and procurement processes
  • Effectively manage users requests queue, responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner and recommending long term solutions for recurring issues

You have

  • Experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Storeroom
  • Advanced SAP MM knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Spanish, French or Italian would be an asset
  • Analytical skills (data analysis)
  • Technical savvy and interest in improvements and process automation
  • Experience in ARIBA will be an asset
  • Project Management experience will be an asset
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The role will involve business travel up to 20% of working time
